CT Scans

Abilene Cardiology Consultants PA, is proud to present our new CT SCANNING capabilities to our patients and the public. We have acquired the most advanced multi-slice CT technology available, the Toshiba Aquilion 64. This system produces high-speed, high-resolution imaging with the best low contrast resolution at the lowest patient radiation dose. Our primary specialty is of course CORONARY C.T. ANGIOGRAPHY to get to the heart of the matter. This new technology allows Abilene Cardiology Consultants physicians to assess blood flow to the heart muscle, the pumping function of the heart, and to visualize any calcium deposits in the vessels and or any narrowing of the heart vessels. Our ability to perform these non-invasive tests is very important in the diagnosis of heart disease. Abilene Cardiology Consultants also does precise imaging of all other body systems with our state of the art Toshiba Aquilion 64 C.T. Camera.
